Mission Statement:
In the Visual Arts Department, it is our goal to teach students the technical skills and creative thinking strategies needed to communicate and to create successful works of art.
In today’s increasingly visual society, developing an understanding, appreciation, and skill set in the visual arts is imperative. Exposure to independent thinking, reasoning, and problem solving are vital skills needed in developing the “whole” person. Whether it be in the form of career, family, or personal, any individual will profit from the benefits of arts education in their life.
